Built by defense logistics professionals. Solving problems we see firsthand.
Bring immutable, independently verifiable audit trails to defense logistics — making counterfeit parts traceable, maintenance records tamper-proof, and contract deliverables dispute-free. Without replacing a single existing system.
S4 Ledger was born from frustration — the kind you only get from years of experience inside the defense logistics ecosystem.
Our team has spent years deep in the world of Integrated Logistics Support — working across Navy and DoD programs, seeing the real problems up close. We've watched technical data packages fall into version disputes nobody can resolve. Maintenance records questioned months after the fact with no way to prove what happened. Contract deliverables devolve into he-said-she-said between government and contractor. Suspect counterfeit parts entering the supply chain with no reliable way to trace them back to the source.
We looked for a solution. There wasn't one — not at a price point that makes sense, not without vendor lock-in, and not built by people who actually understand ILS. The enterprise blockchain companies charge $500K+ for proprietary systems that the government can't independently verify. Manual audits cost $15-50 per record. Neither scales.
So we built S4 Ledger: SHA-256 hash anchoring on the XRP Ledger. The hash proves the data hasn't been altered. The XRPL timestamp proves when it was created. The public ledger means anyone can verify it — no proprietary software required, no vendor dependency, no trust assumptions. Cost: $0.01 per anchor. That's 1,500× cheaper than doing it the old way.
We're based in Charleston, South Carolina — one of the densest defense contractor hubs on the East Coast. We didn't build this in a Silicon Valley lab. We built it next to the shipyards, the program offices, and the fleet.
Not a generic tech company pivoting to defense. We've lived defense logistics — 3-M, CDRLs, TDPs, configuration management, and supply chain provenance. We built S4 Ledger because we understand the problems firsthand.
Competitors use proprietary chains that require their software to verify. S4 Ledger uses the XRP Ledger — a public, decentralized ledger anyone can verify independently. No vendor lock-in. Ever.
Enterprise blockchain competitors charge $500K+ per contract. Legacy manual verification costs $15-50 per record. S4 Ledger: $0.01 per anchor. The math speaks for itself.
Only SHA-256 hashes touch the blockchain. No documents, part numbers, serial numbers, PII, or classified information. The hash is a one-way mathematical fingerprint — it cannot be reversed.
Home to SPAWAR/NAVWAR, the Charleston Naval Weapons Station, and dozens of defense contractors supporting NAVSEA, NAVAIR, and fleet maintenance programs.
Defense logistics professionals, software engineers, and blockchain architects united by one goal: making audit trails impossible to fake and cheap enough to use everywhere.
